Michelle Sylvestre

Michelle Sylvestre (1982, Camrose, Canada) works in a variety of media including sculpture, performance, installation, photography, video and data physicalization.

With a conceptual approach, Sylvestre considers art a multi layered conduit for exploring the range of human experience.  Works are executed using aesthetic and stylistic influences from both her upbringing in Western Canada as well as her years living abroad in Japan.

Since 2015 Sylvestre has held the position of Creative Director for White Night Media, in this role she works in a number of creative areas, not limited to digital works but encompassing a matrix of creative vehicles used to develop stronger, more concise genuine relationships.

Sylvestre was recently awarded the Excellence in Art Studio from the University of Lethbridge Fine Arts Department, and is scheduled to graduate with a BFA – Art Studio degree this June. She lives and works in Lethbridge, Alberta.
